Native Sun Natural Foods Market is based in Jacksonville, Florida and voted 2008 Natural Food Retailer of the Year by WholeFoods Magazine. The store concept was conceived when owner, Aaron Gottlieb, was diagnosed with chronic fatigue. His condition was so severe that he found himself sleeping 18 hours some days. Aaron put himself on a healthy, organic diet and now feels better than ever.
Wanting to help others, Gottlieb opened two stores in the Florida area and stocks a wide range of products including organic produce, natural baby products and environmentally safe household products. Nature’s One® has been completing the retailer’s food surveys for many years, answering questions about casein, gluten, dairy, peanuts and tree nuts so the retailer’s staff members can assist their food sensitive customers in identifying the most suitable foods.
