In response to concerns regarding the radiation threat as a result of Japan's tragic earthquake, Nature’s One® can assure our customers of our product safety. The ingredients used for Baby’s Only Organic® formulas, PediaSmart® nutrition beverages, PediaVance® electrolyte solutions and Baby’s Only Essentials® DHA & ARA and Probiotics have all been purchased before the March 2011 earthquake in Japan. Our existing ingredient supply that was purchased prior to March 2011 will be used to manufacture Nature’s One® products for the next several months.
As Nature’s One® begins purchasing ingredients for future needs, we will mandate that our ingredient suppliers use a qualified third party laboratory to test for radiation before shipping to Nature’s One®. We will also conduct verification testing using qualified independent laboratories.
Please be assured that all of our formulas are manufactured in the United States. Nature’s One® organic ingredients are purchased from the USA, Canada and/or Europe; organic coconut oil is from South America. These countries have effective organic systems and standards in place and are carefully audited by USDA-recognized certification agencies.
The FDA warned infant food manufacturers to take heightened bioterrorism precautions since the 9/11 terrorism events; therefore, we are unable to provide the specific location of Nature’s One® manufacturing facilities. Nature’s One® facilities are registered with the FDA, USDA and other local government entities as required by law. Again, all Nature’s One® products are manufactured in the USA.
