With the sales of organic food doubling in 2010 and national food chains rolling out their own lines of natural and organic, its important to understand the difference before paying those extra dollars at the register!

 

  

My Son Was a Complete Different Baby

I feel the need to let you know how much we appreciate your product! After 2 weeks of my son's birth, I had to supplement formula into my baby's diet. He would let out a heart-wrenching scream and cry after a bottle of formula. He would turn bright red and you could tell he was in pain. After about 4 weeks of trying different formula's, I called a breast-feeding specialist and they told me that some babies have a negative reaction to the DHA/ARA found in most formula's. She said that the synthetic may cause cramping, extreme gassiness, and loose stools. Most products on the market contain this synthetic which has not even proven to be beneficial to a baby's development. She recommended I search for a formula that did not contain DHA/ARA. I found yours!! I first contacted my physician to make sure this "toddler formula" would be okay to give my 6 week old. After our discussion, I ran right out and got it. Literally, in less than 2 days, my son was a completely different baby. 

Needless to say, I am a believer in your product and tell people all the time about what it did for my son. He is now almost 4 months old and thriving on Nature's One. He is reaching all his milestones and doing great. Thank you so much!

Baby’s Only Organic formula was the answer we were looking for

I wanted to post our story on your blog, I always recommend Baby's Only Organic:

My child was 14 months old when I discovered her lactose-intolerance.

DD had horrible colic starting at 8 weeks old, I did try all sorts of formulas (BFing did not work out for us).  I tried a soy based one, and she had horrible diarrhea instantly from that one.  I used the Nutramigen formula, half that, half low iron Enfamil, I think.  Then around 9 months I discovered Baby's Only Organic Formula (at that time it wasn't sold in my store, I had to order from the internet).  All of a sudden her tummy was better.  I had also discovered Hyland's colic tablets.  I wasn't quite sure if she just outgrew it or what.

Then when she was 12 months old, I started giving her cow's milk, she would have diarrhea every afternoon.  Pediatrician was not very helpful, I knew it had something to do with the dairy but he would not believe me.  I kept her on the Baby's Only Organic formula for a couple more months.

Finally got a referral for milk protein allergy test, she was fine.  Then I started reading on lactose-intolerance, which I figured out she was.  Pediatrician said infants don't get that.  She never did like cheese, other toddlers were gnawing on cheese sticks, but she never would.  I know she knew it bugged her tummy.

I worried about her getting enough protein and I also wanted to stay away from soy.  The powdered goat's milk was NASTY.  I would make her yogurt smoothies.  Yogurt is a soured dairy product, way less lactose.  She would have Stonyfield yogurt, some rice milk, apricot baby food, flaxseed oil for kids in her sippy cup for the longest time.

Then I moved on to organic lactose-free milk, which she still has a cup of every day.  It was still important to get protein in her since she was a picky eater, she would not eat meat for the longest time.  Now she does.  She did eat a lot of brown rice, etc.

She also would eat handfuls of shredded parmesan cheese.  I would use it for my salads and she loved it, you would think it would be too tangy ... but hard cheese = less lactose.

We have tried dairy since she has gotten older, and usually the 2nd day or 2nd time trying something, she will get tummy cramps.

We use almond milk now that she is older for cereal.

The thing about Baby's Only Organic Formula, it was dairy based, but it's main filler was brown rice syrup, not whey.  Whey is so hard for some of us to digest.  I cannot handle protein drinks that have it, my stomach will have hellish cramps.  I use a brown rice based protein drink for myself.

Just looked at Baby's Only website ... they have a lactose-free non-soy version now!

Worth the 40 minute Drive!

I just wanted to submit a quick testimonial of how much my family loves your product! I was heartbroken when I learned that my milk supply was dropping with my second pregnancy, and that it was no longer supply my daughter with some of the essential nutrients she needed to gain weight. While I continued to nurse her for comfort, my only solace in introducing her to formula came from all the research I had done on your product. My family and I drive almost 40 minutes out of the way to purchase your product (Baby's Only Organic® Dairy formula) because I truly feel it is a safe and nutritious alternative to typical formulas used by other moms I have encountered. My daughter has been hooked on it, which was also comforting, as I knew she grew truly frustrated with the lack of milk from nursing, so I loved that she could be consoled with a sippy cup of Baby's Only Organic® and settle down just as nicely as if I had nursed her! I also greatly appreciate your company's stance on breastfeeding, 

I think it is wonderful that you as a company encourage other moms to breastfeed. That really sealed the deal for my family as we are strong breastfeeding advocates and I nursed my daughter for a year before she self-weaned.
